The founder of Sportstest (www.sportstest.co.uk), Dr Garry Palmer is hosting is hosting a three-hour performance workshop this coming Sunday, 10th November, designed to help you get more from your training time this winter.

Gary is a coach, athlete and exercise physiologist – including British Triathlon Age-Group Championship medals – and the session is will cover:

  • Goal setting
  • Physiological responses to exercise
  • Effective use of your training tools (heart rate monitor, and GPS monitor)
  • How to optimise your training time
  • Building a training plan
  • A brief look at nutrition for runners
