Outlaw partners with Team Oxygenaddict for official coaching

Outlaw Triathlon and Team Oxygenaddict have joined forces to offer official coaching for the half and full series of Outlaw events. The Oxygenaddict unique T.I.M.E Training System should appeal to busy athletes who want to maximise their performance whist maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

The Outlaw was launched in 2010 and has since added two half Outlaw events to its racing calendar, becoming one of Britain’s best loved and successful series of triathlons. Likewise, Team Oxygenaddict has established itself as one of the country’s leading triathlon coaching companies, providing event-specific training plans, coaching guidance, and video coaching calls. There’s also a lively weekly podcast, which helps bring the British triathlon scene to life, and Outlaw competitors have been regular guests on the show.

In the run up to the events, all Outlaw competitors will have access to free coaching advice, and for those want to work within a specific coached structure, there’s much more detailed training and race-day guidance, and Outlaw specific training webinars. Team Oxygenaddict will feature at the expo at all Outlaw events.

Iain Hamilton of OSB Events said: “We’ve generally seen that athletes who commit to following a programme or working with a coach are more likely to be successful on race day, and Team Oxygenaddict provides a very high quality service. We’re delighted to add them as a partner and would encourage athletes to start thinking now about their training plans, and not wait until the new year to get started.”

Rob Wilby, Head Coach at Team Oxygenaddict said: “Outlaw is fantastic series of events, which dozens of our coached athletes have taken part in since their inception. Partnering with them is a fantastic opportunity to help more athletes improve, and we’re very much looking forward to working together. Completing a half Outlaw or full Outlaw event is a massive challenge and can be daunting, but our coaching experience can help turn finish line dreams into reality.”

He added: “We devised our unique T.I.M.E Training System to help busy age groupers train in the most time-effective manner. It’s designed to help athletes fit the demands of their Outlaw training around busy professional and family lives, getting them in peak condition in less training time.”

You can watch coach Rob Wilby present a free webinar on preparing for a Half or Full Outlaw using the T.I.M.E. Training System here: https://team.oxygenaddict.com/outlaw.

Entries for the tenth anniversary Outlaw are still open, although have sold much more quickly than they have for many years with athletes taking advantage of the new payment plans and option to defer entries. Outlaw Half Holkham is also still open, but the Outlaw Half Nottingham is completely sold out. Visit https://www.outlawtriathlon.com.
