Meet the athletes you follow, get closer to the brands you use and find fresh inspiration for your next challenge. Here’s why World of Triathlon LIVE has caught our attention again — whether you’re contemplating your first race or planning your next big season.
A look inside the inaugural World of Triathlon LIVE, from the exhibition floor to the kit on display. The show returns to ExCeL London on 10–11 April 2027.

There’s a particular pleasure in spending time with people who understand why you’re excited about a new wetsuit. Or why a breakthrough in the pool can make your entire week.
Triathlon gives us plenty to talk about. Finding the time to enjoy those conversations, between training, work and the rush of race day, can be another matter.
That’s a big part of the appeal of World of Triathlon LIVE, powered by TriDot, which returns to ExCeL London on 10–11 April 2027. Heading into its second edition, the show will bring athletes, coaches, brands and race organisers together for a weekend devoted to swim, bike and run.
The organisers are promising an expanded line-up of more than 100 brands, alongside athlete appearances, expert advice and opportunities to get involved. For us, the attraction is what that combination could mean for the person walking through the door: useful answers, new connections and a little extra enthusiasm for whatever comes next.
You don’t need a race résumé to belong here
If you’re new to triathlon, even working out which questions to ask can feel like a challenge. What equipment do you actually need? How do you fit three sports into a normal week? And is everyone else really as confident in open water as they look?
A weekend that brings different parts of the sport together offers a useful starting point. You can speak to people, explore the equipment and begin to put faces to a sport that might previously have existed mainly on your screen.
Experienced athletes have plenty to gain, too. Perhaps you’re moving up in distance, trying to improve your weakest discipline or simply looking for something different after several seasons of the same routine.
We like that the programme makes room for both. You don’t need to be chasing a podium to have a reason to visit, and you don’t need to be a beginner to leave with something worth trying.
Meet the names you normally watch from the sidelines
The Beyond the Finish Line main stage, sponsored by HUUB, is one of the obvious draws. Confirmed names include Alistair Brownlee, Jess Learmonth, Kieran Lindars and Nikki Bartlett, with broadcaster and former elite athlete Annie Emmerson hosting the interviews.

Alistair Brownlee, Kieran Lindars, Jess Learmonth and Nikki Bartlett feature in the announced 2027 line-up.
There’s plenty of sporting pedigree in that line-up. What interests us most, though, is the opportunity to hear the experiences behind the performances: the decisions, setbacks and lessons that a results sheet never captures.
The show also advertises meet-and-greet opportunities following onstage interviews, giving visitors the chance to ask a question, get an autograph or grab a photograph.
Our advice? Have a question ready. The answer to something you’ve genuinely wondered about could stay with you much longer than the selfie.
Make the kit conversation personal
With more than 100 brands planned across swim, bike and run, there should be plenty to explore. Names featured in the organiser’s 2027 line-up include HUUB, Zone3, FORM, ROUVY and ZWIM, alongside headline sponsor TriDot.
For anyone considering a purchase, the attraction is being able to get hands-on with products and speak to the people behind them. A specification sheet can tell you what a product does. A conversation can help you work out whether it solves a problem you actually have.

Visitors browse swim kit and speak with exhibitors at the inaugural show.
That matters in a sport where there’s always another upgrade competing for your attention. Whether you’re buying your first essentials or considering a more specialised piece of equipment, it’s worth arriving with a few questions and a budget in mind.
Race organisers will also be part of the mix, with names in the brief including XTRI World Tour, ATW Events and supertri. If your next challenge is still undecided, exploring the events on offer could be just as absorbing as browsing the kit.
Come away with something you can use in training
The Multisport Academy education stage is where we’d make time in the diary.
The planned programme covers swimming technique, cycling performance, running, training, nutrition, recovery and race preparation, with coaches, athletes and experts sharing advice for different experience levels.

For a first-time triathlete, that could help make an unfamiliar part of the sport feel more manageable. For a seasoned age-grouper, it’s a chance to revisit a habit, explore a different approach or identify a question to take back to your own coach.
We’d suggest picking one thing you’d most like to understand better before you arrive. Then, once the timetable is released, build part of your visit around it. Giving yourself a focus should make it easier to turn an interesting day out into something useful when training resumes.
Bring your curiosity — and your competitive streak
There will be opportunities to do more than browse and listen.
Give It A Tri returns with ZWIM as its sponsor, using indoor training equipment to create a static triathlon experience across all three disciplines. ROUVY and ZWIM are equipment partners, with visitors able to take part individually or team up.
It sounds like a fun way to break up the day, try something different and introduce a little friendly competition if you’re visiting with training partners.

New for 2027 is a Community Run with Alistair Brownlee, supported by Truefuels and planned for the morning of Sunday 11 April. Booking details are still to come, so keep an eye on the organiser’s updates if that’s on your wish list.
There’s also a new Recovery Zone, with group breathwork, yoga and demonstrations of self-care tools planned. It’s a welcome addition to a programme that recognises there’s more to training than the sessions themselves.
A chance to find your people
Some of the most appealing conversations won’t necessarily happen on a stage.
A show like this creates space to meet other athletes without worrying about your start time, your transition bag or getting home after a race. It could be a day out with your club, a chance to introduce a friend to triathlon, or a solo visit spent following your own interests.
British Triathlon returns as Lead Federation Partner, while Women in Tri UK continues as a charity partner, supporting its work to break down barriers to participation.
That emphasis on community matters. The sport benefits when people feel comfortable asking basic questions, trying something unfamiliar and seeing a place for themselves alongside more experienced athletes.
Why we think it’s worth a visit
The appeal of World of Triathlon LIVE 2027 is the range of ways you could spend your time. You might prioritise the athlete interviews, arrive with a specific equipment question or use the weekend to work out what you want from your next season.
For newcomers, it looks like an inviting opportunity to explore the sport. For established triathletes, there’s the prospect of fresh ideas and time with people who share the same enthusiasm.
The full timetables and further announcements are still to come. But the programme already gives us good reasons to keep the weekend free.
World of Triathlon LIVE takes place at ExCeL London on 10–11 April 2027. At the time of writing, a limited allocation of weekend tickets is advertised at £10.
