Are you racing on Saturday at the Dambuster Duathlon, the British Duathlon Championships? If you are, then Worcester Triathlon Club (www.worcestertriclub.co.uk) would like to challenge you to also race in their Peopleton Duathlon on Sunday. And, they are prepared to offer you a financial incentive to do so! Read on... Worcester Triathlon Club is holding its annual duathlon in the beautiful village of Peopleton in Worcestershire this Sunday 11th March 2012. As part of the event this year Race Director, Les Bailey, is challenging those duathletes who are racing at Rutland Water in the National Duathlon Championships on Saturday to show how fit they really are by racing again the next day in Peopleton. Les who reaches the ripe old age of 75 this Friday will be racing in the National Championships and will also be racking his bike bright and early on Sunday morning to complete the double. Any competitor out there who wants to try the same will be rewarded on the successful completion of the race on Sunday with a refund of £5 of their race entry fee. The event comprises a 7km run followed by a two lap 29km bike and finishing with a testing 3km second run. Entries are still available online www.entrycentral.com/index.php?raceID=100293 or you can contact Les direct on 07976 894997 or via email lesbailey1@btinternet.com All competitors can be assured of having an enjoyable race in a beautiful part of the Worcestershire countryside well marshalled by club members and local residents. ![]()
