British Championship Road Race Silver for Karl Alexander

Winner of the Outlaw Half Nottingham Triathlon in both 2015 and 2016 and also a regular reporter for TRI247.com in recent years, Karl Alexander has been quietly switching his sporting attentions in recent months back to his roots in cycle road racing.

After several early season race wins and racking up the points needed to progress through the British Cycling categories, his big goal was the National Masters Circuit Race Championships (40-44), held at Rockingham Circuit, Corby (for several years, host venue of the British Elite Duathlon Championships).

He didn’t quite manage to take the win he had hoped for – but his efforts were good enough for the Silver on the day. “Disappointed in the result but overall, pleased with my performance”, was his assessment.
