Norfolk-based Kimberley Morrison (www.kimberleymorrison.co.uk) is well known for her triathlon bike splits.

With a significantly interrupted season, she has been making the most of the opportunity to race in more Time Trial events, including all of the National Championship events up to 100-miles. Yesterday was the National 50-mile Time Trial Championship, an event which has seen significant ‘triathlete’ success in recent years.

On what was a wet day for most of the UK, Kimberley collected another RTTC Bronze medal, so that her return for the four ‘distance’ championships in 2020 sits as:

  • 10 miles – 3rd
  • 25 miles – 4th
  • 50 miles – 3rd
  • 100 miles – DNF (Puncture)

In between those events, she finished third at IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia, and we may well see her race again later this year in Florida, as she is one of the automatic qualifiers for the PTO Championship at Challenge Daytona.
