Britons Cameron Main and Daisy Davies, who have both made their mark at middle and full-distance racing in the last 18 months, will be part of the BMC Pro Triathlon team next season.
Scotsman Main has thrived since moving up from short course racing, claiming the win at IRONMAN 70.3 Knokke-Heist in September before landing IRONMAN Western Australia earlier this month on what was his full-distance debut.
Davies meanwhile hit the ground running in 2024 with victories at Challenge Wales and Challenge Vieux Bocau and then in 2025 she too scored on her full-distance bow with a wide-margin success at Challenge Almere.
That pair are joined by Germany’s Finn Grosse-Freese, winner of both IRONMAN Austria and IRONMAN Copenhagen in 2025.
Three in, four out
The three new faces are part of a six-strong team alongside Miguel Hidalgo (BRA), Antonio Benito Lopez (ESP) and Laura Madsen (DEN).
But from the seven-person roster in 2025, Denmark’s Thor Bendix Madsen, France’s Clément Mignon and Brits Sam Dickinson and Lucy Byram all leave the setup.
“After 12 magnificent seasons as a top international team, we are ready to take the next step in our journey and build on the outstanding successes we have achieved”, CEO Bob De Wolf said of the 2026 announcement.
“We are incredibly proud and grateful of the legacy we have built so far, but even more excited of what’s to come in 2026 and beyond.
“The cooperation with Thor Bendix Madsen, Clément Mignon, Sam Dickinson and Lucy Byram will come to an end at the end of this season,” added De Wolf. “Thor (3 seasons), Clément (2 seasons), Sam (2 seasons) and Lucy (2 seasons), have played an instrumental part in what we have been able to achieve as a team over the past few years.
“We are incredibly grateful for what they have done for the team, as top athletes, as fantastic people to work with and for the outstanding results they have achieved as a member of our team. It has been an incredible journey and we wish them all the very best with their future careers.”
Breakthrough seasons
Switching focus to the team’s newcomers, De Wolf said: “Daisy Davies had a real breakthrough year in 2025, becoming European Champion Long Distance Triathlon and that on her debut over the distance. At the age of 23 Daisy is an incredible talent and one of the up and coming stars to go and disrupt the long distance triathlon scene.
“Cameron Main had a great season”, De Wolf continued. “We are incredibly excited to start working with him. Cameron recently won IRONMAN Western Australia and that on his IRONMAN debut. With his 2026 Kona qualification secured, Cameron has his sights set on a podium in the IRONMAN Pro Series and also at the World Championship in Hawaii.

“Finn had an incredible 2025 season, crowning himself Champion in both IRONMAN Klagenfurt in Austria and IRONMAN Copenhagen. Finn targets another IRONMAN title and top finish at the IRONMAN World Championships in Kona next season, an ambition we fully believe Finn can go and realise next year”.
Taking the next step
All three are relishing the opportunities that lie ahead.
Davies said: “I’m really excited about the opportunity to join the team as it represents high performance, professionalism, and a strong commitment to athlete development. I’m also really looking forward to meeting and learning from the team and support staff. Being part of a team, with such technical expertise and a clear vision for excellence is an ideal setting for me to take the next step in reaching my full potential.
“For 2026, my focus is on delivering consistent, high-level performances throughout the season and putting myself in a strong position to qualify for, and be competitive at, the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona.”

And Main added: “Being part of the team is exactly what I need to level up my performance and help me get onto the podium of the IRONMAN World Championships in Kona. I can truly now put all my focus into my training and racing since I am going to be very well supported by the excellent team members along with all their incredible kit to keep my training and racing sharp!
“I am always looking to improve my performance in the sport of triathlon, whether that is from physical fitness or equipment. In the end I hope this transforms into great results at World Championships and IRONMAN Pro Series events to mark my name as one of the key players in the world of long course triathlon.”
Grosse-Freese meanwhile said: “I immediately felt that this team would be a perfect fit for me. Being surrounded by a world-class team with so much experience and knowledge is the perfect next step in my career. I believe this environment can help me find the final few percentage points needed to perform consistently at the very highest level.
“My main goals for the 2026 season is to win a major IRONMAN race and to achieve a top finish at the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona. I am highly motivated and I am sure that being part of the team will be one of the keys to reach these ambitions”.
