Island House Invitational Triathlon 2017 – Day One update

Narrow leads for Flora Duffy (BER) and Ben Kanute (USA)

Day One (Friday) at the 2017 Island House Invitational Triathlon in The Bahamas saw narrow gaps at the top of the leaderboard.

Despite winning both the Prologue and Sprint Enduro events, Ben Kanute (USA) holds a lead of just 11 seconds for Saturday’s Sprint Distance (pursuit format) over Terenzo Bozzone (NZL).

For the women, Flora Duffy (fastest in Stage 1), will start 14 seconds ahead of Katie Zaferes (USA), who regained 18 seconds by winning the Stage Two Enduro. For the British entries, Holly Lawrence sits third, with Emma Pallant, Rachel Joyce and Leanda Cave in 11th/12th/13th respectively.
