The eagerly-awaited return of Supertri Jersey will feature two British triathlon legends – and a reigning Olympic champion.
On Sunday 21st September, Supertri visits the Channel Islands for the fifth time. It initially went to Jersey in 2017 for what was the first-ever Supertri League event but has not been back to its shores since 2021.
Renowned for its dramatic coastal setting, electric atmosphere and community support, Jersey has become a standout destination on the Supertri calendar and a favourite amongst fans and its world-class triathletes.
GTB and Brownlee both in action
That was evident when we spoke to Georgia Taylor-Brown recently and she told us: “That was one big reason I came back to Supertri this year – when I saw that Jersey was back on the calendar.”
She is the most decorated female athlete in both Olympic and Supertri history and a three-time champion in this format.
Taking what she’s termed a more relaxed “gap year” in between the two Olympic cycles, she was still able to finish second last time out at Supertri Chicago.

GTB has the full set of Olympic medals as does fellow Brit Jonny Brownlee who will be joining her in Jersey.
Beaugrand adds more star quality
And the reigning women’s Olympic champion Cassandre Beaugrand will also be there.
She triumphed in front of her home fans in Paris last summer and has carried on where she left off this season, winning WTCS French Riviera last weekend to put her firmly on course to retain her world title.

She and Taylor-Brown will both be in a formidable Crown Racing line-up in Jersey.
Michael D’hulst, CEO and co-founder of Supertri, said of the upcoming race: “Triathlon here is more than a race, it totally brings the island to life. With routes that embrace marina views and tight turns, Jersey is the perfect backdrop for Supertri and ideal for athletes and spectators looking for fast-paced action and a fun race atmosphere.”
