There are just twenty places left for the Clumber Park Duathlon next Saturday, 21 March. The event, which takes place in North Nottinghamshire, features sprint and standard distance events for relay teams and individuals. The event is a British Triathlon Age Group Team qualification event.

Entries will close this Sunday (15 March) and are available via the Tri Society website. For those who may not be aware, Tri Society as a new(ish) name for the existing team that has always delivered the event to very high standards.

The event takes place within the National Trust Clumber Park and surrounding roads. Road and TT bikes are both suitable. The event has previously attracted the likes of Olympian, Will Clarke. However, it’s not just about the fast men and women at the front of the field, there is a medal for every finisher.

With reference to current affairs, Event Director, Iain Hamilton, said: “We are monitoring advice regarding Coronavirus, as set out by the UK Government, NHS and World Health Organisation. We urge everyone planning to attend the event to do the same.

“Unless things change, we plan to proceed with the introduction of additional hand sanitising stations and to provide gloves for all marshals with direct competitor contact on the drink stations and the finish area. We will continue to monitor the situation very closely, planning for a successful event.”
