Following the supertri E World Triathlon Championship in London last weekend, which was won by Beth Potter and Chase McQueen, supertri have unveiled their 2024 League.

Expanding in North America, the five-stop League will now feature races in two major US cities, as supertri delivers on its commitment to grow short course racing in America ahead of LA 2028.

Revealing the dates and venues for this season’s calendar, supertri adds another element to what is set to be an exhilarating second half of the season following the Paris Olympic Games.

Boston and Chicago set to host supertri double-header

Beginning in August, the League will start with a double-header in Boston and Chicago, which will see the best athletes in the world race over back-to-back weekends on US soil.

From the US, the League will then head to Europe, where racing will return to London and Toulouse for the fourth and third edition of supertri events in the iconic city-centre locations.

Finally, the season will once again culminate in Saudi Arabia, where NEOM will host the fifth and final race of the 2024 supertri League.

supertri League calendar 2024:

August 18 – supertri Boston

August 25 – supertri Chicago

September 8 – supertri London

October 6 – supertri Toulouse

November 3 – supertri NEOM

“Inspire the competitor in everyone”

Explaining the supertri vision for this season, CEO and co-founder Michael D’hulst underlined the organizations intentions for the League.

“supertri has set the benchmark for triathlon and turned the passion of our founders of creating a true spectator sport into a reality. Our vision is to ‘Inspire The Competitor In Everyone’, and nobody does this better than the amazing professional athletes that will come into supertri off the back of the Olympics and be ready to go full gas from the start.

“We are focussed on growth in key markets, and having two events in the USA is a significant step forward, as we visit iconic locations and also have the opportunity to truly inspire by bringing the supertri stardust to mass participation events.

“We can then look forward to continuing to build our established successful footprints in London, Toulouse and NEOM after several years of working hard to scale those events together with our valued partners.

“It is a very exciting time for supertri and a huge year for short course triathlon. We cannot wait to be part of the wave of momentum for truly spectator and broadcast friendly race formats that redefine the sport.”
