Elections stop triathlon…!

IRONMAN France will combine with IRONMAN 70.3 Nice this year – 12th September 2021 – with news that rescheduled regional elections in France have had a knock-on effect.

2021 IRONMAN France Nice event update

Due to the continued status of the COVID-19 pandemic in France, the French regional elections have been rescheduled to 13 – 20 June 2021. Unfortunately, as a result of this change, we regret to inform you that the IRONMAN France Nice cannot take place in June and has been rescheduled for September 12, 2021, coinciding with IRONMAN 70.3 Nice.

Our team will continue to work hard developing and refining operational plans in a manner consistent with local community objectives and within the guidelines and recommendations set by public health entities while also ensuring a great race experience for both IRONMAN France Nice and IRONMAN 70.3 Nice athletes.

Athletes that are registered for the event will receive an e-mail with further information. We recognise that the postponement may come as a disappointment but look forward to providing athletes with an exceptional race experience in September this year.
