The 2010 ITU World Championship Series Grand Final takes place this weekend in Budapest, and the World Championship titles are still up for grabs for both men and women, with the points at the top of the dtanding very close.

The pre-event press conference with the leading athletes took place this morning, and courtesy of Helen Gorman at British Triathlon, here are some of the quotes - and a video - as the best in the world get ready for the Grand Final.

Alistair Brownlee

People ask me all the time what drives me or what motivates me. What's the point of being in a big race if you don't want to win it? It's a stupid question really.
You do everything you can to try to win it. The opportunity exists here for me to win, but it's not massively different to any other race.
When you're having a bad day in the pool and he's (Jonathan) catching you up, you're not going to let him past you because he's your little brother. He's got a fantastic opportunity tomorrow to in the U23 title.

Javier Gomez

I have a chance to win it (the overall Series title) but I know it's not going to be easy. I'm happy and my training is going really well. I will give it my best tomorrow and see what happens.
I don't mind if it rains tomorrow. It's a bit more risky, you have to be careful on every corner, but we may see something different.

Jan Frodeno

(has the opportunity to be the first man ever to be world and Olympic champion at the same time.)

We all try to be the best we can, and to do something that no one else has done is special. It's would be a childhood dream come true.
I go to the supermarket now and people ask me how many points I need to be world champion.
The depth in the men's field has been incredible in the last two years. Definitely the run speed has stepped up.

Emma Moffatt

For us women we know that to be World Champion we have to win the race. To achieve something for the second time will be more even more special.
I enjoyed last year, but to do it again would be even better.

Andrea Hewitt

My training and race schedule has gone well this year. I'm going to races on good form and my running is getting faster.

Lisa Norden

You can scare yourself blind with points but it all comes down to the race and what happens on the day.
