ROUVY, the virtual reality indoor cycling platform which allows you to ride real routes from around the world, is quickly becoming one of the most comprehensive cycling training platforms for triathletes. Already host to a huge range of Challenge Family race routes, the announcement earlier this year of their partnership with IRONMAN and acquisition of FulGaz means the platform now has even more triathlon routes to explore.
With so much choice, we take a look at the top 5 new routes on ROUVY to go and ride right now.
Top five new routes on ROUVY you need to ride
Before the new partnership with IRONMAN, ROUVY already had plenty to pick from when it came to the best routes for triathletes. You can find our previous picks of the best routes for dialling your TT position, and the ones that are ideal for helping you to train for a hilly course at home.
But which of the new IRONMAN routes are we bumping straight to the top of our ROUVY ‘to ride’ list?
IRONMAN 70.3 Marbella route

Recon the 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship route and experience the punchy climbs and stunning Andalusian landscapes of Marbella on ROUVY. The virtual route allows you to experience the full one loop bike course, including all 1498m (4918ft) of elevation. If you’ve qualified for this year’s world champs, you’ll definitely want to get to grips with all the twists and turns of this challenging bike course so you can ride with confidence on race day. And even if you’re not racing Marbella – a few training rides on this course will soon have your climbing legs feeling strong!
IRONMAN World Championship Kona route

Keeping the World Championship theme going, of course the iconic Kona bike course had to be included in our top picks. From the blast up Palani Hill to the lava field surrounds of the Queen K. Plenty of triathletes motivate themselves through training with dreams of the Big Island – so what better way to stay focused during your turbo sessions than riding on the famous route itself! You can ride the full 180km route if you’re planning a solid several hours in the saddle. Or there are shorter versions to pick from on the platform, ranging from 20km-56km.
IRONMAN 70.3 St George

If the Queen K isn’t calling to you, why not experience the magic of St George’s Snow Canyon instead? A previous host of both the 70.3 and full IRONMAN World Championships, St George has set the stage for some truly spectacular triathlon performances in recent years. And riding the legendary bike course on ROUVY will make a few hours on the turbo pass in a flash, with the rolling hills out of the City of Hurricane gearing you up for Snow Canyon against a back drop of dramatic desert terrain.
IRONMAN Switzerland Thun

Thun was voted global winner for ‘best bike course’ in the 2024 IRONMAN Athlete’s Choice Awards – a sure fire sign that you need to see this course for yourself. The 40km loop on ROUVY is the perfect way to get a taste of the Thun magic, with the panoramic views of the Swiss Alps looking almost as stunning in virtual reality as they do in real life.
IRONMAN 70.3 Aix-en-Provence

A stop on the 2025 IRONMAN Pro Series, 70.3 Aix-en-Provence is already sold out for this year. But the good news is, you can ride the bike course on ROUVY whenever you like. Taking you through the scenery of Provence and the winding roads of Monte Sainte-Victoire, getting to grips with this route on ROUVY will help you to appreciate just how rapid the PROs are when they battle it out for IM Pro Series points in real life this May.
