Triathlete George Goodwin partners with ONE PRO Nutrition for 2020

  • Long distance athlete George Goodwin becomes part of ONE PRO Nutrition supported athletes for 2020
  • Goodwin is the reigning Ironman 70.3 Staffordshire and Ironman 70.3 Weymouth champion
  • ONE PRO Nutrition is supporting British Athletes aiming to achieve their goals for the 2020 season and beyond

ONE PRO Nutrition, the active nutrition brand for those conscious of what they put in their body, are delighted to announce that they will be supporting British triathlete George Goodwin for the 2020 season. ONE PRO Nutrition will be fuelling him as he aims for IM 70.3 success at the World Championship in Taupo, NZ, this year. George will be using the entire range of nutrition products and accessories in training and racing.

Goodwin is one of a significant crop of young Brits excelling over the 70.3 distance. His most notable performances are winning IRONMAN 70.3 Staffordshire and IRONMAN 70.3 Weymouth, as well as finishing third at IRONMAN 70.3 Barcelona 2019.

ONE PRO Nutrition founder Matt Prior spent over a decade playing cricket at the highest level and in the process consumed a whole host of sports and nutrition supplements. At the end of his career in 2015 Matt set up the professional cycling team ONE PRO Cycling, giving riders the highest level of support in order to allow them to become the best they could be, including nutrition. Having worked with a number of nutrition brands there was nothing that stood out and the decision was made, if you want the very best then create it yourself.

The growing range of products have been developed using natural premium ingredients without any additives, leading the way in science, functionality and taste. What’s more, athletes consuming ONE PRO Nutrition can rest assured that there’s no chance of contamination which could affect any controls thanks to a close relationship and rigorous batch testing with Informed Sport, ensuring both quality and integrity.

ONE PRO Nutrition products are not just for elite athletes but for anyone leading an active lifestyle, for those conscious of what they are putting into their bodies and wanting the very best active nutrition. Whether you go to the gym once a week, participate in endurance events or are a professional sportsman or woman, the products will help get the best out of yourself.

Jeremy Hall, Marketing Director at ONE PRO Nutrition said: “Supporting young British talent is part of our brand’s ethos of providing the very best active nutrition for all levels and disciplines of activity. We’re delighted to be helping George achieve his goals this season, using the very best active nutrition products, as well as using him and our other athletes to understand more about how we can continue to develop and improve our product range.”

ONE PRO Nutrition join Goodwin’s current supporters Zoot, Kuche & Bagno, plus Rugby-based company, Cyclepowermeters. Goodwin is one of several recently announced Supported Athletes with ONE PRO Nutrition, including professional cycling teams Ribble Weldtite and DROPS, former Olympian and track runner Tom Lancashire, one of Britain’s brightest young field throwing talents Heather Cubbage, and British 49er Sailors Daniel Budden and James Grummett.
