We’ve highlighted recently the Oscar nominations of the five-time off-road triathlon World Champion, Lesley Paterson. Lesley also spoke to Mark Allen about her work on co-writing the screenplay for All Quiet on the Western Front, the film that gained nine Academy Award, and 14 BAFTA nominations.
A passion project which has been more than 14 years in the making, the film was a big winner on Sunday evening at the BAFTA ceremony, collecting seven awards, including the headline recognition of Best Film.
There was personal recognition for Lesley too, as along with her co-writers Ian Stokell and Edward Berger, they collected the award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Congratulations Lesley – and best wishes for a repeat next month at the Academy Awards.
