Lionel Sanders‘ latest YouTube video has a life-changing update – he’s going to become a father.

He and wife Erin shared the happy news – “We’re beyond excited to announce that the team will be growing by one this fall.”

“We think it’s a boy,” says ‘No Limits’ on the video before Erin clarifies: “Lionel thinks it’s a boy!”

“Quite nervous about it – I’m going to have to get reading about it real soon,” adds Sanders.

Before that reading starts the focus is no doubt going to be on next week’s inaugural PTO Canadian Open, with home favourite Sanders part of a stellar startlist.

He’ll be up against reigning Olympic and IRONMAN World Champion Kristian Blummenfelt, and the Norwegian’s compatriot and IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion Gustav Iden as well as newly-crowned Challenge Roth hero Magnus Ditlev.

The season so far has been a successful one for Sanders, with runner-up spots at IRONMAN 70.3 California and the IRONMAN World Championship at St George, while last time out he was the winner of IRONMAN 70.3 Mont-Tremblant.
