After the scheduling go-around caused by the US having to show their Hawaii programme before Channel 5 could show its version this week and Channel 4 having to wait in line for the chance to show their 'IMUK to Hawaii' feature, we finally have a date and time: Wednesday 12th December at 5:45am. Tri247 will post its companion piece featuring Rob Walker's production diary notes from Hawaii on Monday afternoon.

Interestingly the fact that recording a programme is, so far as the statistics are concerned, the same as watching it! This means that if lots of people pop their VCR/Sky+/whatevers on to record the programme on Tuesday, the good ratings that will generate will help convince Channel 4 to do more next year. So, please set those timers for all our benefits.

Once the programme has aired, IMUK will be able to release the DVD version containing both the TV programmes and the extra age group footage so if you have pre-ordered that it should be with you fairly soon.
