Scotland's Bella Comerford and her fiancée Stephen Bayliss are both targeting the top of the podium at this weekend's Ironman UK triathlon.

Last year at the Sherborne Castle (Dorset) based event Comerford won the women's event and Bayliss came 2nd in the men's event. Since their success over the 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike and 26.2-run course the pair have added a further seven Ironman podiums including three wins.

Coming into the race as top favourites hasn't affected either athlete. Comerford comments "I am all set for war on Sunday. Those girls better be shaking in their shoes because I am coming to rip them apart. I will be doing my best on Sunday to have the best race of the year."

Whilst Bayliss says "I'm really looking forward to racing IMUK on Sunday. I feel I am in very good shape and I am looking to race to my very best on Sunday."

Boosting both Bayliss and Comerfords confidence coming into the race has been sponsorship from Computrainer, providing them with the best bike training device available. Bella has also been bolstered by home grown support from Scottish Sea Farms (www.scottishseafarms.com).
