Race images from Challenge Turku, Finland

Photographer José Luis Hourcade (www.joseluishourcade.com) has been a busy man in recent weeks, bringing us great images from races including Challenge Geraardsbergen in Belgium, IRONMAN Norway and the Norseman Xtreme among others.

This past weekend he was at the Challenge Turku (www.challengeturku.com) in Finland, which attracted an impressive Pro field including former IRONMAN and twice IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion, Sebastian Kienle (GER), and the recent ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Champion, Pablo Dapena Gonzalez (ESP).

There was plenty of British interest too, including Sarah Lewis (who I interviewed earlier this year), who was back racing for the first time since an injury-impacted ninth place finish at The Championship in Samorin. It was a strong return too, adding the win to her early season title at Challenge Roma.

Several other British athletes performing well in the top ten too, including Thomas Davis (Race Hub), who kept pace with the ITU World Champion through the swim and bike legs, eventually finishing fourth.

Check out some great images from the race below.
