OSB and blueseventy renew events partnership

OSB and blueseventy renew multi-year events partnership
Last updated -

Blueseventy will be the swim partner of all OSB Events, including the award-winning Outlaw Triathlon in Nottingham after renewing their successful partnership ready for the 2017 season. The multi-year partnership will see blueseventy develop Outlaw-specific products and have a presence at events.

The Outlaw triathlons are OSB’s flagship events in a series featuring triathlons, running events and national team qualification events. There is also the blueseventy Big Swim event in Nottingham in July with competitors covering up to 5000m in open water.

OSB Events’ founder and director, Iain Hamilton, said: “Quality is really important to us, and that’s what you get with blueseventy. Our events are all about providing a very high quality experience that we might want to take part in ourselves, and it’s important for us to partner with brands that complement this ethos.”

He added: “Amongst our aspirations is to add a new Outlaw event next year, and it’s good to know that we have partners who are keen to support and grow with us.”

Eve Roberts, blueseventy’s UK Manager, said: “It was a priority for us to renew the successful partnership with OSB Events, the Outlaw in particular is a highlight of the triathlon season. The ability to meet customers face-to-face at events is really valuable, but also the association with an award-winning organisation is something we are very proud of.”

The Outlaw Half Nottingham sold out to 1600 entrants in a matter of hours, which is testament to how popular the events are. The Outlaw, which covers a 3800m swim, 112mile bike ride and 26.2mile run, still has a few spaces remaining, and the newest addition, the Outlaw Half Holkham, is also still open for entries. Blueseventy will have retail presence at all three of these events as well as the National Relays and other shorter distance events throughout the season.
