Eight GB Age-Group Team Long Distance Euro Champs medals in the Netherlands

As it was in 2017 (HERE), this years ETU Long Distance Triathlon European Championships was held in conjunction with the long-standing Challenge Almere-Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

A full gallery and update on the Elite race is coming very soon, but here is the roundup on the British Age-Group athletes, who collected eight ETU medals, of which three were Gold.

*** NOTE *** – The results are always a little complicated when an ITU/ETU championship race is held in conjunction with an open race, as happens regularly in relation to both Challenge and Powerman events. As well as international athletes (who are not eligible for ETU medals), there will also be European athletes who race, but have not entered in the ‘ETU Championships’ element of the race… who may well finish in times faster than those on the podium.

So, just for clarity in this regard, the information here relates to the ETU Long Distance Championship and the medals issued by the European Triathlon Union.
