Tomos Land
Tomos Land is a triathlon and running journalist whose expertise lies in the professional world of short course and long distance triathlon, though he also boasts an extensive knowledge of the ultra-running scene.
He started his writing career with TriNation, where he covered triathlon stories from the short course world whilst studying in his final year of High School. After choosing to undertake a degree in Journalism and Politics, Tomos continued to write for TriNation, whilst also contributing to athletics site Fast Running and covering competitions such as the Diamond League on behalf of Vinco Sport.
Now in his final year of University, Tomos has been covering the sport of triathlon for TRI247 since August 2022. In that time period, he has interviewed both Tokyo Olympic Champions, covered races ranging from the WTCS series to the IRONMAN World Championships and reported live from the Super League Triathlon Championship Series.
In that time frame, Tomas has also contributed regularly to RUN247, with his work including interviewing the likes of Barkley Marathons finisher John Kelly and Western States winner Jim Walmsley.
Away from writing, Tomos is an avid fan of both triathlon and athletics, with the main focus of his work coming from his passion for both sports. After dabbling in podcasts during the pandemic, he can now be found talking all things triathlon on the Triathlon Maven Podcast.
